Mouse models of Alzheimer's disease (APP23 mice) and Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (SOD1 mice) were exposed to low frequency magnetic fields generated by Merit coils. Protein aggegation and a-beta levels as well as Morris water maze performance of APP23 mice were not effected by exposure to low frequency magnetic fields. Disease onset and survival of SOD1 mice were not affected by the exposure to low frequency magnetic fields.
