Government: Public Health and Worker Compensation
- Dr. Ratner has completed Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Introduction to Hazardous Materials and Radiological Emergency Management training. She has also completed Incident Command System ICS-100 training and is available to assist Local Emergency Planning Committees (LEPCs) with the development of their Local Emergency Response Plans (these services are offered on a volunteer basis to all Local, State and Federal agencies).
- Dr. Ratner is available to assist Local, State and Federal Environmental Health Teams with the process of assessing, identifying, and recommending solutions for environmental threats to human health in water, food, soil, waste, and air (indoor and outdoor) that occur during a disaster (these services are offered on a volunteer basis to all Local, State and Federal Agencies).
- Conducting literature reviews, and evaluating current and past scientific literature and government regulations
- Assist with neurotoxicity risk assessments for setting public health and worker compensation policies
- Assist with interpretation of preclinical data and allometric scaling to estimate dose response relationships in humans

- Project Management and guidance on preclinical GLPs based on part 58 of CFR Title 21. As a Diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology, with training in preclinical pharmacology and drug discovery, Dr. Ratner has the appropriate education, training, and experience to serve as a study director on your project per the requirements stipulated under part 58 of CFR Title 21.

- Medical record reviews for neurotoxic tort, worker's compensation and medical malpractice claims
- Review and evaluate pertinent medical and scientific literature for paralegal purposes
